Friday before vacation

I am soooo glad it's Friday, next week I will be sitting in the sun at the Beach!!!!

First Scrappin with mom all day tomorrow,visit new scrapbook store, and out to eat
Laundry
Get everything together for trip, floats, lotion, food
Packing everyones clothes
Holding off the kids till Sunday, you know how patient kids are
And then a week of down time before school starts

Happy Birthday to my MOM Today!!!

We are spending the day together on Saturday.

• First we will start off at an All Day Crop, we rarely get to actually crop together, so I am really looking forward to it.
• Then off to check out a scrapbook store in churchland.
• Then finally out to eat, haven't decided where to eat yet. It doesn't matter though I Love spending time with my mom SHE IS THE BEST.

Can't tell her age so those you you who know how old I am she is exactly 25 years older than me. She acts more my age than I do sometimes.

We are BEST Friends and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey, it worked. trying to add this to my blog, but can't figure it out so I thought I would just post it. This is mostly older stuff, but all I had at the time I was making it.

It's a Great Day

I got to go in late for work today, although I have to work till 4:30, it's worth it getting to sleep in a little. The weather is just gorgeous today.

I have been scrappin and scrappin, thought I would share one. I got a whole 2 page layout done.

I am definitely on a roll. My new cricut should be here today. Yeah!!

Disappointed

Have you ever loved something too much??

My latest obsession has been my cricut. As I stated in my last post, I had cleaned up my scrap so I could scrap. I was all set up and ready to make a title for a page I was doing. My little bug failed me, it wouldn't work. I called support, the girl was very helpful, said they would send a new one out soon. I received an e-mail this morning that my NEW machine is on it's way. Hopefully I will have NO trouble with this one.

If I do I see FREE product in my future........ Not giving up on the little bug yet!

I accomplished something today

Decided to clean my scrap room today, so I had to take a before and after picture.



I can finally scrap in some sort of organized area YEAH ME!!!
Not much of a space. I need a professional to help me, I have no vision for the room. Anyone out there with any ideas, please share.

It's Friday

Well, It's finally Friday..

Went to our local fair last night to watch my niece perform in the talent show.
She is 11 yrs. old and she sang Missippi Girl. She won 2nd place. Yeah!!!
I wanted to post a picture, but the computer is not behaving this morning, can't even check my e-mail Good Grief!! The spell check on blogger is not even working, so hopefully I have spelled everything correctly.

Off to the movies tonight with my son (13) , I think we have decided on Devinici code. We get to spend some time together, my daughter (6) is usually with us. I am glad for the mom and son time. They grow up so fast and soon don't want to hang around with mom much.
Not much going on Saturday.

Typical Tuesday

Well it's Tuesday, nothing much going on. It is considerable cooler this week, Thank goodness.
My crop this weekend was fun, I always enjoy spending time with my scrappin friends. Didn't sell much and was exhausted by 8pm My cricut was a hit, I love that little machine. I cut so much I wore out my blade.

All in All a Good time was had by all!! Not much in sales and no new recruits. Having another Sept 23rd. And hope to do a frame class in September at Va's Coffee.

Hedi Swapp has had her baby. Who is she you ask? One of the greatest designers right next to Donna Downey. She had a little girl last night she named her Capri, kinda cute name (Capri Swapp).
There definitely won't be another child with that name in her class at school.

Glad I am done having babies. two is enough for me.

Hot Crop!

Thought I'd be a little creative with my Blog color today. LOL

I am hosting an All day Crop tomorrow and I am not the first bit ready. I still need to go to Walmart and get drinks and numerous other things. I do have my make and takes ready. I am having a scrappin yard sale I got that stuff ready last weekend when I cleaned out my crop room.

It is just so HOT here, my car sits in the sun at noon, so I went out to see what the temp was my car read 114 degrees. GOOD GRIEF!! So I can't pack my car tonight, crop starts at 9 am

www.topline-creations.com/wendymyers is having a stupendous sign up offer $24.95 so I hope to get many new recruits this weekend. I love my scrapbook business and really wish I could do it full time. My real job takes up too much time!!!

A perfect size building is available for lease right now and I would love to have it for a store.
I guess you have to have goals. Thought for a while I wouldn't like a store, but I have changed my mind. I will one day you just wait and see.

I was reading over an old interview with Heidi Swapp, I enjoyed reading the interview the most because I learned that she has the same day to day problems as a the rest of us. I especially have a hard time squeezing in an scrapbook time at home, because there always seem to be something else that needs to be done laundry, dishes, cleaning in general.

Anyway I thought I would share my favorite part of the interview. It speaks to me because when I decided to start my scrapbook business on the side, I felt a little selfish, but I had to remember that I am a individual too not just a mommy and wife, so I think we all need our indiviuality and scrapbook is something I adore and always will.

"she designed a life she loved”. If you really think about that for a while I think it’s a beautiful thing. I have the opportunity to remind women that they have the power to design the life they love. We can show our love for life through our scrapbooking and leave valuable messages. We can leave a tremendous legacy for ourselves, and our loved ones. Choosing the kind of person we want to be and the kind of life we want to have is the perfect way to start a lifetime of pursuit.
