Blog Lurking

I have been blog jumping today, I love looking at other peoples blogs, especially creative people, they always post there projects, I love looking, but I never leave a comment on people I don't know. Seems kinda creepy leaving a comment for someone I don't know, but I think I will.
I hate that I hardly have any comments on my blog, seems like I am talking to myself LOL

On another note. I heard this morning that the family of the young girl that was killed at the school in Colorado asked that in honor of there daughter that you do a Random Act of Kindness. I think that is a great idea. so everyone that reads this blog, help Emily's memory live on. RAK someone in the next week. You be surprised how good it makes you feel.

Please keep her family and all the children involved in your prayers this week.

It's Friday!!!!

I must say, I am very glad it is Friday, but I think I say that every Friday!! LOL!!!

I have a crop tomorrow with lots of new people, I am very excited about that.
I love it when I get to meet new people and they scrapbook too.
Then we have church on Sunday and Awana's Sunday night.

My weekends are always filled with plenty of activities, but you know I just told someone what a hectic morning I had with my children, but soon enough they will be gone, so enjoy'em while you got' um.

My 13 yr old son actually held my hand for a few seconds the other day. wow
Anyone that had a 13 yr old knows what a big deal that was. I think your children keep you young, at least I hope so cuz these days I am feeling mighty old!!

Fall is my Favorite

FALL

Fall starts this Saturday, I am so excited, I love the Fall. I guess I love it because the temp. is cool and the sun still shines. You can still go outside for a short time before dark.
And of course the gorgeous colors of the leaves and pumpkins.

We tried our hand at growing pumpkins this year. I told my son NOT to put the seeds in my flower bed next to the garage. So we went on vacation to California for a week and a half.
Can you guess????? The runners were soooo long we couldn't even get into the garage. So I tried to transplant it. Didn't work. Maybe we will try again next year. I love the thought of having our own pumpkins.

I guess I didn't listen to my parents advise on some things growing up. My children seems to not trust my judgment on anything. I tried to tell my daughter (6) when we were on vacation NOT to purchase the press on nails. (with superglue I might add) Dad let her buy them anyway. I wish she would have let me take her picture. It took about and hour and a half to get those #%$& things off. Let's just say neither one of us were very happy by the time they finally came off.

Seems to be a lot of random rambling in this post, sorry

My Day Was Made

My day was going Ho Hum!!!!

I was looking at Donna Downeys blog, angry because I missed out on yet another Freebie.

I thought wouldn't that be great it if I could do that. But what would I give away?
So I thought I would check out my friend Shells Blog.

Blog Neglect

I have been suffering from an acute case of Blogger neglect. The symptoms are:

* So much to do you can't see straight
* House is a mess so you can hardly justify computer time
* Tired from running around
* And lack of enthusiasm (see picture below)

If you are like me and have these symptoms, you can clearly see why blogging time is at the bottom of the list.

Having a better, but not less hectic week, so I have tons of things to catch up on. On of which is blogging, so stay tuned for further posts coming soon. Hopefully some of those will include some scrapbooking.

First day of school

Look at the enthusiasm!! Son's picture was not even poastable. Are we excited about the first day of school or what!! LOL

Is First grad that bad? I think not!

They actual have to get up very early (6 am) so I really can't blame them for there lack of enthusiasm.

They both had a really good day and will be much less enthusiastic tomorrow I am sure.

Better days ahead, especially when homework starts pouring in

Vacation

We had Fantastic time on our OBX vacation, we made it through Ernesto with no problems, and had 5 beautiful sunny days. Back to school tomorrow. The kids are sooo excited. LOL
