California Friends are the BEST!!

I wish my picture a day had started today. When I got home I had a nice late birthday present and an early Christmas present waiting for me. i open the Belated Birthday present to find this gorgeous blanket with an adorable note attached reminding us what a great time we had. It even says what each color represents.

I'll be sure to scrap it!

Getting Ready...........................

I ready myself for the challenge.

1. Photo card cleared of any left over Thanksgiving pics.
2. Battery charged and ready.
3. scrap area cleared of Christmas projects
4. Note book in purse, so I can jot down comments that come to mind for each photo.
5. Need to decide on a color scheme-it's always easier to scrap with a color scheme.
6. try to stay on task, no skipping a day and taking 2 the next........cheating!!!!!!!
7. I have decide on the first page YEAH!!

Quick Blog

Ok, a few people have questions about the challenge.

All you have to do is the following:

1. Decide on a month (we decided on December)
2. Take (1) picture a day and scrap it.
3. That's it-You have a whole album done.

You do not have to scrap them every day, you could do them at the end or as you go along.

I just thought it would be fun. Saw the challenge in simple scrapbooks newsletter I think

I got my album from www.scrapbook.com it's a 6 x 12. so really I am only scrapping a half a page a day. LOL

Christmas is Coming-Are you Ready?

Christmas is right around the corner, so I have started on my gift holders.

One is a box that holds 4x4 cards you put pictures on. The others are these folding things to put gift cards in. I hate giving gift cards, but teenagers are really hard to buy for. If that's what they want, that's what I give them.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a Fantastic Thanksgiving, the weather was perfect, I always like for it to be chilly this time of year, it's simply unnatural for it to be warm. I had plenty of those when we lived in California.

Thought I would share some sites from yesterday. I took 33 pictures, I think everyone must think I am crazy running around taking pictures, but working on photo projects makes me realize that I don't take enough pictures, so I took plenty. OK so stupid blogger won't let me upload picture. I'll try again later. Yeah! it finally worked.

I have sooo much to be thankful for.

The lord has blessed me and my family, for that I am very thankful

Lots to do this week:

• Get up at 5:30am
• Work till 3:30
• Go to the grocery store
• P-up Mark
• Chiropractic appt. (much needed)
• P-up Sam
• Take Mark shopping for pants for tomorrows field trip
• Make pies for Thursday
• Wash clothes*wash clothes*wash clothes-how can 4 people produce so much laundry?
• Finish cleaning house
• Prepare to decorate for Christmas (clean mirrors and windows)
• Get ready for All Day Crop & Open House
• Wrap presents already purchased
• Decide what to do about Christmas cards

Sunday Morning

It's Sunday morning, my daughter is trying to get sick (please no)

we had family birthday last night for my son, it was nice seeing everyone.

Here is Mark with his grandma rose. This is the only picture he smiled in. Why do they hate getting there picture taken. I told him your scrapbooking will be none existent before long. Gotta go lots to do today!

I almost forgot ,I received my 6 x 12 album in the mail yesterday from http://www.scrapbook.com/ I talked about this on my Nov. 3rd post

I am ready ready ready.

I had made the decision to do a 30 day album. Which means we picked a month and we are suppose to take a picture a day and scrapbook it every day for a month. The album I ordered is red canvas. It's a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be, I am way excited.

I try not to challenge myself too much, as I always seem to not complete things I start. So I got my friends Izzy involved-I need someone to be accountable to.

We have a challenge for anyone that is interested, December is the month

Birthday Blog

My Baby Boy was 14 years old yesterday

Boy how Time Flies!!!!!!!!!

I was going to post, but I had one of those days.

I am probably the only weirdo that has these kinds of days.

I do things so repetitiously that some days I go blank. I could not remember my ID' s or passwords on several of my accounts. Therefore I could not post yesterday

It must be my age LOL

Anyway my son was 14 yesterday WOW!! Taking him and a few of his friends out Friday to a laser tag place WOO HOO. Then family birthday on Saturday.

I will definitely post pictures of that

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I did a crop on Saturday and had a great time. I drove 2 1/2 hours to a little place called Saxe, VA.

We did a Relay for Life Crop, the ladies were such a delight, I felt like I was among friends. Mom and I had a great time creating cards and tags all day on our little piano bench. There turn out wasn't quite as successful as they expected, but we all had a great time regardless.

Mom and I stopped at cracker barrel YUM!! on the way home and scored on some 70% items for our Scrapping weekend in January. Yeah !!!

Thanks MOM for spending the day with me! I love you!!
