Productive Day

Day light savings is a wonderful thing. It really helped me get a lot done today.

1. Finished and sent my newsletter.


2. Went to church


3. Ate lunch and Wendy's


4. Took my daughter and her friend to the movies (Open Season)


5. Made spaghetti , garlic bread and brownies for a friend who had surgery and delivered it.

6. Took my daughters friend home.


7. Made a very cute card & envelope with my new cricut cartridge(Beyond Birthdays) If you have a cricut, highly recommend this one, you can make any card you need and then some.

8. Check and posted to my blogger

9. Washed at least 3 loads of laundry, folded, hung and put away.

10. Made cookies, yes the cut and cook kind, is there another?

I love getting alot done, but I could really use another weekend day. I think it should be Saturday, Sunday & "Onemoreday". Then I would be ready to start my week.

Cootie Bug

I felt kinda like this picture yesterday. (out of focus & yucky)

I didn't feel good at work all day, but when I left, I slowly got to feeling better. So I have come to the conclusion that I must be either sick of work or alergic to work. This month I celebrated my 20th year with EMC. I guess I have just been feeling HO HUM. Wishing I could be a SAHM. I haven't been giving 100% to my scrapbooking business. I have been trying to decide on a crop in November, I didn't even have one in October. Just been so busy with family stuff. I think I have narrowed it down to Thanksgiving weekend, since it is an extended weekend. Got to get working on those registration and I also need to work on a Fall newsletter. Wish me luck.

I think I feel a fever coming on (Cough Cough). Hurry up 3:30, I'm ready to go home and it's only 8:30 AM. *Sigh*

It's Fall Ya'll

It is definitely Fall, when we have done our pumpkin shopping and Halloween mask shopping. This is the only picture my son would allow me to take. LOL Gotten the yard pretty and cut the grass hopefully for the last time this year. Thought I would share a few sights from the day

What is the world coming to

You know most people want to get married have kids, raise them to the best of their ability and hope they in turn get good jobs, get married and raise a family of there own.

Here I go sounding like my mother:
Kids these days just lack self respect. Someone, we are not sure if it was child or an adult it is just speculation, called in a bomb threat to the High school, middle school(my son attends) and an elementary school.

Now it makes me wonder what are kids thinking these days. I think it is such a shame when it is thought of as fun to scare children and parents for fun. With all that is going on in the world with the shootings, it can scare a parent (ME) half to death. Makes me want to home school.

I think it safe to say that there are four children and there parents who will be on my prayer list tonight.

Project Runway

Ok it's time for another confession. You must first understand that I don't get to watch much TV as I am always busy with something, so the Disney channel is usually on. Last night I stayed up TOOOO late and I actually watched something I love. I love watching project runway. I know it is a ridicules show, but I love Tim Gunn, he is so too the point, he kinda reminds me of myself. He speaks his mind. I have watched every season since it started now mind you I don't watch every week, but I do get caught up as they show reruns all the time, so I catch them here and there.

They are down to the final 4 now, and all 4 are really great, next week will tell.
Michael is my favorite. He has great vision.

I also did a layout for my husband to take to work. He works at Bed Bath and Beyond and they sponsored a house at Homarama. (Showcase of New homes)I took a bunch of pictures while I was there. And I made sure to put my business card on the back in case someone wondered who had done this great layout LOL!! I forgot to take a picture of it before he took it. I was surprised when he agreed to take it and display it at the store, the house they sponsored won 17 awards, so I thought it would be nice to show customers that they can actually purchase things they see at homarama.

Well that's my confession for today.

Star Wars

I have never really been a big Star Wars fan, nor has anyone in my family. However We do own almost every star wars movie there is for some reason. Anyway when I arrived home yesterday from work, my son (13) asked if I would watch star wars 4 & 5 with him. I must say besides my son asking me to do anything with him is pretty nice I really enjoyed it. We spent until 7pm enjoying some time together. And you can learn a thing or two from Yoda he is quite wise. LOL

1. I always clean my house real good when I go out of town in case something happens to me when I am gone. Southern people gather at the deceased house and I can't stand the thought of someone seeing how messy I really am.

2. I always like to drive anywhere I go because it keeps me in control of the situation.

3. I keep a brown and black purse in the car so my shoes always match my purse

4. At work I use my calculator with my left hand, even though I am right handed

5. I don't really have a favorite color, but my lucky number is 5

So Far So Good

I am having a pretty good week this week, I have gotten a lot of Scrapbooking projects ready for an upcoming Craft show. I just ordered the new 8x8 albums yesterday.

I can't wait to get them, I also sold one of the adorable Frog pocket books this morning.
They are TOO cute.

And I did the Match Game cards that came in the Artist Choice last week, I hope to get a few more projects done before the show. People seem to buy things at crafts shows that are already made up.

Hope everyone has a Great Week. The rain is coming so more scrapbooking to come.

PS: I watched The NINE last night, it was pretty good. CSI is still my favorite

THE BACHELOR

I must admit of all the 900 or so channels last night I chose to watch the Bachelor.
It is a stupid show, please don't tell anyone. I don't watch it regularly.

I have no idea why I watched this program, I guess the thought of flying across the globe to meet someone, not privately , but with 26 other women. Good Grief. I wanted to see what CRAZY women really look like. I mean one girl actually sold her car to afford the clothes for the trip and guess what she didn't even get a ROSE!!

Needless to say I am very tired this morning and had a hard time getting up this AM Hope to find something better to watch tonight, wish me luck
