Just a quick blog note of some things I hope to accomplish this week:

* I had a great Crop this weekend-Thanks to everyone that came, we had a great time

* I am going to finish my frame for my room (Thanks for the push shell)

* I am purchasing a camera this weekend
Any suggestions? I am leaning toward a Cannon.

* I am hoping my new stuff from TLC will come ths week

Scrapping With Friends

Getting ready for my crop tomorrow. It's from 9-9 and I have 15 people coming.

*Finished up the make and takes last night

*I got all the sales sheets printed

*Must go and set up tonight

*Must prepare place setting gifts

*Hope my order from scrapbook pal comes today, I love them they are so quick. I ordered on Tues and I bet my order will be here today {fingers crossed}

*Get my inventory straight so I can sell, sell, sell tomorrow. Hope to get rid of it all LOL

*Need to print out schedule for the next 6 months

*Pay for and pick up food

*Go by the bank and get change(I'm remembering this as I type it)


Good Lord I have a lot to do, what am I doing at work??????????

Inspirational

This is a picture of a frame from Rebecca Sower's studio,
I was blog lurking and found it.

It just inspired me so much. After work I immediately went to the thrift store.
Found a frame I loved, not this big, but close enough. Went to Walmart got some cute material from the 1.00 a yard table and went to painting on the thing last night, hope to have it complete by Sunday. Rebecca's had so many interesting things in her studio, but this i thought was so cool. I plan on putting cork board behind the material and use it like a bulletin board. I have decided on light yellow for my scrap room. So I painted the frame a white wash yellow and then rubbed some stain over it for dramatics. LOL Any way check out rebecca's blog

5 Things

My blogger friend Jolene posted a tag sort of thing so I thought I would give it a try. I am suppose to post 5 surprising or secretive things about myself.

1. I get very freaked out if I cannot move my arms or if I am held down. Ask my DH he thinks it's funny.

2. I am claustrophobic. (Must go along with #1)

3. I smoke, I have smoked since I was about 14 years old. Stopping only when I was pregnant with my children. And I have no desire to stop. (That's sad I know)

4. I always wanted to be a professional photographer,and live at the Beach.

5. My nickname has always been POOH as in Winnie the Pooh. I loved Winnie the pooh and collected Winnie the Pooh stuff until I had my children.

Time for a change

Blogger doesn't allow much creativity, but I love changing things up, so I picked a new template. Not sure I like this one, so I may change again. Hope to blog something worth reading soon.

I thought about it yesterday, all these reality shows, if a camera followed me around for a day or even a week. Good Grief, everyone would be falling asleep even the camera men. LOL My life is so BORING!!!!!!!!

Inspired

This is not my scrap room, but I wish it was. This is my scrap area

In light of the new year and my wish to clean out and rid myself of my old stock.
Mitch and I decided on the configuration of my scrap space and I have told him I am ready to move forward. I found this picture while blog hopping today. I am going to have counter 36" high along one wall of my room. I already have shelves above.
I need you all to help me make some decisions. I have a printer a postage machine and a cricut to accommodate, so keep that in mind. My computer is in there, but on the opposite side of the room. Which by the way is sorta small. I can't wait to get started. Thanks for your thoughts.

Pre Made Pages

I found some pre-made pages that I had posted on e-bay as I was cleaning out my scrap room. (no bidders)

My blogger friend Missy suggested I post it here. They are my TLC AC 's most from last year. I make them up and put them in my sample album.

Mitch and I were both getting it at the time so I have 2 of each.

I also have some past Artist Choice kits that I have never done that I would like to sell for $25.00 a piece. (depending on the month, it usually includes 4-12 x 12 page kits and usually cards and or tags and a project of some kind-full color and step by step instructions)

Friday Thoughts

Not much to tell, so I thought I would post random stuff. I feel like this chicken today...................

• I am very happy it is Friday I haven't worked a 5 day week in a month. I really hope to sleep in tomorrow
  



• I started on my tax stuff last night, what a headache. That will take most of tomorrow, plus I need to take inventory
  



• I really need to get rid of all my old Artist choice kits, so I need suggestions on what is the best way, I have joined a new Yahoo group (Thanks Missy) so I may post some there. I have tried e-bay for my pre-made pages with no luck.
  



• My son and husband are working on flooring the attic, so we can finally get the shed and the garage cleaned out. I need to post a picture of my sons Christmas present I talked so much about. He did love it. It takes up a lot of space in the garage. So now I park in the driveway.
  



• I am so terrible, because my camera died 4 days before the 20 day challenge ended, I did not complete my book. I am soooo terrible. Maybe I can get that done this weekend. I know I should be ashamed of myself. everything is catching up with me and I feel like I am drowning in things to do.
  



• My husband has measured my scrap room for my counter, and gone to Lowe's and gotten me cabinet books. Did you know that one little cabinet with the baskets in it is over $500.00? I will not be getting the cute little baskets, that's for sure. So now it is up to me to pick cabinets and counter tops, I am so excited.
  



• My children may be staying at friends house this weekend, so maybe hubby and I may get some FREE time. Yahoo, that doesn't happen very often.
  



• I have really been thinking of getting my own web site, not a TLC one. So I can post others stuff to sell. I have no earthly clue where to start. May research that more in the near future.

Thought I would share a few things my other sisiter, who doesn't scrapbook has been working on. The earrings are adorable. The Laynards we all wore this weekend to hold our name badges. We sold a couple She has been making jewlery, so I get to wear something different every day. She does a great job. The pictures didn't come out too clear, I need to scan them so you can really see the details.

If anyone is interested in purchasing any of these, send me an e-mail. They would great for your next crop or birthday gifts for that scrapper you never know what to buy.

Back to Reality

I could never explain how much fun I had this weekend. I laughed so hard my stomach was hurting. I got (51) pages done. I will post a picutre of the 4 of us, and my favorite pages as soon as I can. I still don't have a camera, so I must rely on the kindness of others.


We talked, we ate, we laughed, we shopped and shopped, and we froze in the crop room, but wrapped up and made the most of it. someone even R.A.K.'D us one night. ( I know it was Katherine Glass ) I about pee'd my pants laughing at the other 3, because they didn't know what it ment and kept pronouncing it RACK'D. We even went on a field trip to AC Moore. We scored lots of goodies there. My mom and sister are going without me today (WAHH) 50% off one item.

My sister leaves tomorrow. We are planning a weekend retreat of our own for sometime this year. She will come back to help with that. Not sure when or where. Just cooking it up in our own little minds. Any suggestions you have would be helpful. I know Shell has done a few.

Need to get my registrations for my all day in the mail sometime. So much to do, so little time. See Ya later Bye

Let's Scrap 4 Fun

One more day at work and we are off to Virginia Beach for the weekend. My sister came in last night, so we are ready to go. I still haven't gotten a camera so I will be without this weekend. We have sooooo much fun, I finally got all my pictures printed last night that I am going to scrap. I haven't worked on my sons book since 2004. I have about 100 pictures from vacation this past summer. So I should be fine. I don't even care if I just sit and do nothing. Wish you all were going with us, we are sure to make fools of ourselves. LOL We always do.

As soon as I get back, I must send out my registrations for my crop on the 27th. Anyone in the area is welcome to join me. Shoot me an e-mail and I will send you the registration information. I promised myself I was going to set my schedule for my crops for the entire year.

And I need to get my tax info ready, Mitch has already been after me for the information. I hate taxes. I am also reevaluating my business, must take inventory and so on. Why is there never enough time?

Not the battery

So I finally picked up a new battery( 40 bucks) to my dismay that was not the problem. Good Grief!! Also had to cancel the one I have on BO. I love my camera my husband bought it for me about 4 years ago, it's a Cannon Power Shot. So I am of in search of a new one today, since I am off one more day. Any suggestions? Wish me luck.
