My son babysat my daughter. That went really well, so that makes me feel better about taking the class. I think God let's you know when you should and shouldn't do things in your life. I hope I was listening on this one, because I think I will really enjoy this book. Happy Tuesday!

Lots to Talk About-in no particular order

Guess what arrived on Friday? Yes, my furniture for my scrap room. Yeah!! I hate putting things together, only because I don't like to read directions. DH and son put the computer desk together Saturday, while I was visiting with friends. One down 4 more to go. We decided on desks, they are less permanent than a counter would be, plus they were a lot cheaper. I also looked at paint colors today, still no decisions. DH got my some canvas baskets from bed bath and beyond in chocolate brown and light blue. (Love them) It may take a while to get everything put together and the room painted, but that will give me time to clean it out for the yard sale in March and organize everything in my baskets.

My crop went great, I had a girl that had never scrapbooked, which is my favorite kind of scrapper,because I love it when people take there pictures out of the box and into the book. I had another girl who had never been to a crop, they seemed to have a good time.

We had a great time, and many are coming to the March Crop on the 10th.

A few of us from high school met at a friends house on Saturday night, I don't think any of us had changed in 24 years. We had a blast chattin and laughing. They didn't have anything to drink except diet and sun drop. I had never had a sun drop, for those you you who have never had a sun drop I thought it was like a sprite BOY was I wrong, it is more like caffeine major X 2. Good grief I felt like I was drunk I had such a high, I might as well have had some wine. Anyway, we had 4.5 hours of uninterrupted talking. It was nice to see everyone again.

Thanks for all the comments on my daughters thumb sucking, I wasn't sure about the orthodontist so thanks Rach. Maybe he will have a suggestions.

Thursday News

Lots to do, little time.

Computer fixing did not go so well last night, it still has issues, DH will work on it Saturday.

Samantha went to the dentist yesterday, no cavities, but needs to visit the orthodontist.
She is doing fantastic with sleeping in her own room, so we are on too the next issue.
Thumb sucking. Any suggestions?

Total for Saturday is 14, so I am off to Walmart for food supplies tonight.
Need to get all my stuff ready to go
Need to make sure all my paper work is ready
Get price tags ready for order coming from TLC
Print out crop talley sheets

Plus Laundry, dishes, dinner, homework, baths, etc....Finish in time to CSI

Tonight and tomorrow will be busy busy nights

Happier Days

I am feeling better today, actually I felt better yesterday. After my visit to the chiropractor and a good night with the kids, I was feeling like my old self. I hate when I get like that.
Anyway, I have picked out my scrap room furniture, we decided to go with office furniture because #1 it's cheaper and #2 not so permanent. All I have to do now is order it. We will have to put it together. That should be FUN!!

Now to decide on the paint color, thought I wanted blue, but may change to a light mocha. Still not decided until we visit the paint section.

I added a 6 degrees badge to my blog for my friend Shell, it is a way to raise money for a cause. This cause is for Epilepsy. All you have to do is click on donate and it walks you through it. Also if you would like to add the badge to your blog, it also walks you through the steps, trust me if I can do it, anyone can. LOL, I am terrible with computer stuff, I can't even figure out how to add a cool title to my blog. Always Learning

Samantha is doing great sleeping in her own room. She has been going to bed at 8:30 with no problems, she actually seems much happier, easier to get a long with and gets up in the morning much nicer.

DH got my lap top loaded back up last night so I will be able to demo Lifetimez at my crop this weekend. Looks like I am going to have around15 people, which is great. Tried to work on my make and takes last night, but was too worn out. My order from TLC should be here Friday.

Watched idol for a little while, just can't get into it. Not my thing. CSI is my favorite, that is the only show I look forward to each week.

It's a beautiful 62 degrees this morning, it's just boosts my mood when the weather is nice. Waiting on spring with anticipation.

One of those Days

Have you every had one of those days, where you just want to go to bed and pull the covers over your head so everything will go away? I think being over 40 has a little something to do with it. LOL

I am having one of those, actually the last two days. I am holding out for a better day tomorrow.

There is not much on there yet, but it is a very easy site to join and manipulate. So lets fill it up, you know you have some stuff you want to get rid of!!

Samantha is hopefully on her way to independent bed sleeping, she gave me no trouble last night and I was able to watch the whole movie. Got projects done, the dishes loaded and unloaded from the dishwasher, the trash taken out, clothes washed, I had myself a Good old Valentines Day whoop D Doo. LOL. Just another day, but filled with a little happiness in the form of cards and flowers.

Tonight's feature is Some sort of make and take with new TLC products (suggestions welcome) and Shall We Dance with Richard Geere, Susan Sarandon and J LO. Popcorn and Pepsi will be available in the Kitchen with little or no waiting. Course I have no idea what is for dinner, but there are priorities you know.

Happy Heart Day

I got a beautiful handmade bracelet & cutie card from my daughter.
I also received some beautiful flowers from my wonderful husband. He is working today, so we are having our date night on Friday.

I will probably order pizza for the kids, try to get a scrapping project done for a friend by tomorrow. And maybe get to watch The Devil Wears Prada that I ordered from blockbuster on line. Yeah I got to watch it!! Love Meryl Strep

Samantha slept in her own room again last night, so that is another victory, she seems to wake up alot nicer when she does. she has a harder time going to sleep when her daddy is home. She doesn't think it is fair that we get to sleep together and she has to sleep alone. LOL Hopefully we will have this down pat by next week.

She also has a very loose front tooth. I love it when they loose teeth, they get so excited then they get to look goofy till the permanent one grows in.

Oh and my TLC Runway stuff came yesterday. Did I get to look at it? NO we had PTA reading night at school all I did was cut the tape off the box and grab a brochure. Hope to get to actually touch it tonight. WOO HOO!!!

Got to work on a make and take for my crop, not sure what to do.

I hope to get started on it this weekend. I have been trying to keep my creative juices flowing, it's hard to get some time in for me to scrap when I am doing crops for other people to enjoy, it's not that I don't enjoy myself, I love it. It's that I stay busy trying to take care of my croppers.


On another note:
Having struggles this week with my daughter. We are trying to get her to sleep in her own room, by herself. It has been really hard this week, she slept by herself one night and said OK I did it, can I sleep with you tonight. She is getting way to big for us to have to lay with her every night. She has done really good so far. She is a very independent child everywhere except at home. I know It's all my fault for spoiling her, that's what my mom says. She is getting alot better. And by the way it's not me that spoils her it's her Daddy!!!

No progress on the scrap room. Trying to find time to go and order cabinets. I hope to get it started soon. I am getting my TLC Runway kit today Yeah!! Don't forget to share your favorite new thing with me. Speaking of TLC, convention is coming up and I would Love to go, but it is only 2 days this year, it's sooo far away airfare is ridiculous plus hotel room expense. Maybe a fairy scrapmother will visit me and bring me a scrap tote full of $$$$$. I have another crop coming up next weekend. No registration yet. It is still a little early. When i don't expect a a big crowd, I always get one. LOL

My kit from QVC that I order came today YEAH. It's Donna Downey's first . It comes with 6 tag books and embellishments too!! Thought I would do a special book for my daughter, maybe my sisters. Can't wait to get started. Have a great Weekend!!!

I Fianlly Finished It

What is it you say?

Well I was blog hopping and was at Rebecca Sowers blog and was looking at her scrap space and found an adorable Cork Board she had made with an old frame, so I made my own. Do You Like It?

I also got a new camera on Saturday. I decided on a Cannon Sureshot DS550

as I cannot afford the expensive ones recommended by some of you. I love this one non the less and I have been snapping away, I will surely be posting a lot of pictures from now on. Had a pretty great weekend,Friday night I got to scrap with my mother in law and got all the baby shower announcements done. Spent Saturday out and about with the family. I even got to sneak into Michael's while everyone else was at pet smart. Had a yummy dinner at Topeka's. Sunday I got to clean my nasty house and do some much needed laundry. I didn't watch a minute of the game. Don't think I missed much. Sorry this post is so late, but my pop-up blocker was working overtime, it needed an attitude adjustment
