My Big Boy!

I just had to post this proof sheet of my sons school picture, I just love them.

He looks so grown, he is only 14 and we stand shoulder to shoulder. I am 5'8".

I cannot believe how much he has grown over the last year.

He even has a very faint mustache, Even though he doesn't like any one to say anything about it, we joke him about it anyway.

Just thought I would share a little bit about my son and not because some anonymous poster mentioned it LOL Just kidding Judi!!

Now I must decide on a package and color. decisions! decisions!

All in all we had a very busy fun weekend. Hope everyone had a Great weekend. No scrapping this weekend, but hope to work on my ever in progress scrap room.

FRIDAY FUNNIES

Well, I paid for staying up late late last night. I woke up at 7. I have to be a work at 7.So off I go crazy this morning, drop off my son at school and on to my daughter's school 20 minutes apart, behind very slow buses arghh! I got to work around oh 8:25. Good grief!

To make up for my crap start of a crap weather day and the biggest sinus headache I have had in a while. I get a very nice e-mail from scrapbooking roads. This is a very cool scrapbooking phone book if you will. You can list your brick and mortar store or any direct sales business. I found out about it before the first publication last year. I post my crops or any sales or specials I am having. It's really kinda cool, if your a scrapper and travel. just sitting and watching American Idol with my daughter. I know she should be in bed, and yes I will pay for it tomorrow morning. She was watching the country bears on the Disney channel and got to a sad part. She is laying down, so hopefully she will be asleep soon.

TLC training tonight with Krystal Hartley. Thanks K your training was great as usual, just don't tell my husband what time it is (11:31) I will never get up in the morning. It was worth it.

Back in January at a weekend crop I decided to do a book titled The Big Picture, I promised to make them very simple layouts, but I wanted to get them in some sort of book. I tried to put them in some sort of order, but didn't worry too much about it. Anyway they are big pictures some school pictures, you know the big portraits that you never know what to do with once you replace them with the current year. I also added single shots that I really liked, but didn't really know what to do with them. So I thought I would post a few of the layouts here. Ok, so blogger is ticking me off, won't let me post anymore, sorry this is it. I gotta go to bed aggghhh!

So yesterday was my typical Monday. Work, pick up kids, take trash out(trash night), dinner, homework, laundry, you know the usual.

I promised my daughter that if she finished her homework, dinner and took a bath that I would watch Flushed Away with her for the 3rd or 4th time I might add!

This next part of my rambling is mostly for people that have purchased or sell TLC. I am sure others would not find it as amusing:

Anyway, I noticed it the first time, but also had my husband look. If you happen to have seen this movie, or might see it or own it, take a look at the top part of Rita's boat. I can't tell if it is suppose to be a toilet paper holder or a sponge roller, but that pattern(the top one below) is exactly the same as the new TLC Runway Paper!! I couldn't believe it, I went and got my catalog and showed my husband and he agreed! How odd? TLC on Disney ! It's everywhere!

Ain't it a shame that the only excitement in my life is watching a movie with my kid! On second thought, that is terrific, kids don't stay little long, and who could ask for anything better than watching a movie with your 6 year old while she tells you how much she loves you over and over? PRICELESS!!!!!

HAPPY TUESDAY!!

So I did get a little scrappin done today, thought i would share. Not exactly what I wanted to do, but better than nothing. Thought they came out pretty good, pretty plain. The color looks terrible, wish i had a 12x12 scanner.

We also went to a birthday party at the neighbors house and got our taxes done yesterday. The tax lady said I did much better with my business information this year than last. WOO HOO

Good weekend overall, but it's going to be a crazy day at work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Hey, I forgot It snowed 3 times yesterday during the party and we had outside train rides, it was freeeezzzzing.............

Hi All,

Not much to blog about, busy week with little accomplished.

I have been checking out different blogs and the trend seems to be on Encouraging one another to get a little scrapbooking time in, when ever possible. I so much would like to scrap a little a day to eventually accomplish one layout.

I have adopted the understanding that is NOT important to scrap in chronological order, but to scrap what ever you want whenever you want. So with that in mind I intend on scrapping with special papers that I seem to saving for a special picture in mind.

I recently bought some scalloped edge paper intending to do a layout of my DH and DD. So I will be posting that soon. I hope.

A Good time was had by ALL

We had a great time at my all day crop yesterday, I had 11 ladies of diversified personalities. Which always makes for interesting conversations. LOL

We had chicken salad and pasta salad for lunch. Then we had Yummy Bar-B-Que that Jack made. I love when Jack cooks for me.

Instead of doing a make and take this time, I decided to do something called progressive page. We had 5 people on each side and each person adds an element to the page. First everyone starts off with a background and hands it to the person beside them, then second person adds a journal block, the third person adds a place for a photo, fourth was 3 spots for pics and the fifth was to embellish the pages, then the first person gets a complete page back. I think they were a little sceptical and first, but when they saw the finished pages, some of them wanted to do it again.

My new scrapper friends Teresa and Amy stayed the whole time, so we got to visit. I even managed to make 8 cards using the new runway line. This is 6 of them, my scanner is not hooked up, so I had to take pictures. Sorry, they are not really clear.They are really cute, I even added blingage to some of the rub-ons. Off to get ready for church, have a great Sunday.

There are several small things that make me happy, I thought I would share 10:

1. When my children get up in the morning without asking 3 times.
2. When my husband has taken out the trash, without me asking
3. When my hair behaves in the morning, without fussing with it
4. When I have an e-mail other than spam
5. When someone calls me just to say HI
6. When I zip through the line at Walmart, when I am in a hurry
7. When even people I don’t expect leave comments on my blog (DD)
8. When I don’t have to fill up with gas-in my car LOL
9. When my son spontaneously cleans his room
10.When my son tells me he loves me (he's 14)

Wednesday Thoughts

I am so ready for spring, I am tired of the cold yuk. Even though we have had no snow, I am still ready to go outside and feel the sun on my face.

Sorry to all you people who still have snow. The sun will make it melt faster.

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I am a terrible speller even with spell check. Please refer to the new tag I put in my blog , I lifted it from someone can't remember who!! But is so true. Or at least how I feel sometimes. So I apologize for all my errors.

Meeting last was small but productive

Tonight is the biggie meeting, please anyone that might read this keep my little church on the hill in your prayers all day today. This meeting is going to decide a lot for us. So if you will pray for Gods will to be done and ever present at our meeting tonight.

Slowly But Surley

So here are some of my new components, DH would not let me paint yet, so idea of let put everything together, then take everything out of the room, paint and then put it back, MEN that is not how you do it. But when they are putting everything together for you, I did the file cabinet to the left, (not so good I might add) you can't argue with them. So things are coming together one a time.

Had a great weekend, layed back and relaxing.
