Saturdays Crop

I wish everyone that reads this blog could have been a my crop yesterday. I had the best time, not that I don't usually, we just a diversified group of people, each one was a special and added to the day to make it special. We all shared stories and learned so much from each other. I must say that we missed Theresa very much, but sent her a plate of great food and special note that each one of us signed.

Thank you all for a Great Day.

This little girl was the highlight of the crop, she is a beautiful example of why God is good. Thank you Sallie for sharing your little girl and your special story with everyone.

I made the Crop cans at the top because I needed a new door prize drawing can for upcoming crops, I used the salt and pepper collection from TLC. I think it turn out cute.

If you could change one thing about scrapbooking (and/or our industry in general) that would allow more people to embrace and enjoy this amazing hobby, what would it be?

I copied this from Stacy Julian's blog, I thought it was a very interesting question and the answers really made me think. So I thought it would be interesting to see what all my scrapbooking & Blogger friends thought.

I agree with alot of the comments about it getting a little out of control. I think we need to get back to basics, basic doesn't have to be boring. I don't think it should take 2 hours to do a page. I think pictures and words should make up the layout. It's hard not to get caught up in all the embellishments and foo foo.

I am defiantly keeping all this in mind the next time I scrap. That's one of the reasons I love digi scrapping, because it looks like you spent a hours on a layout, but in fact you did it in a half the time as paper.

Sunday Morning

Wanted to post these pictures, because I am so happy I have them. I know it doesn't make sense, well while we were on vacation, I had downloaded pictures off my memory card onto my sons laptop, but when I went back to find them I didn't know where I had saved them. I thought I had lost them forever. Can you tell I am a computer genius LOL I love this picture of Mitch. So serene.

I was loading pictures to my Lifetimez Online account and I found them. I was so so happy. Now I can do a whole LT book on our summer 07 vacation.

I am excited about the LT online, I am hoping it is up and running soon.

On another note, had a great weekend, the weather has cooled of tremendously, so it makes me excited about fall. I love fall it is my favorite season. I am relaxing on the weekends all I can my calendar for October is slammed.

I am SO Excited

My Up-Line is having a Training/Crop in Chantilly, VA. October 6th. I am so excited because a couple of us are going up Friday and visit the Recollections store nearby. They have all night crop till midnight Friday and Saturday. So we are going to get our SCRAP ON!!!

Lat time we had a training was when I first started with TLC and it was so much fun. Rachael S. came last time too. Maybe this time? It is going to be a day of sharing and cropping I am really looking forward to it. My convention excitement has worn off. I would love if some of you could come. Even you Missy, I know you are not to far and I would love to meet you.
