LIFE AFTER DEATH : "DO YOU BELIEVE IN LIFE AFTER DEATH?" THE BOSS ASKED ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES. "YES, SIR," THE NEW EMPLOYEE REPLIED. "WELL, THEN, THAT MAKES EVERYTHING JUST FINE," THE BOSS WENT ON. "AFTER YOU LEFT EARLY YESTERDAY TO GO TO YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S FUNERAL, SHE STOPPED IN TO SEE YOU!

PALM SUNDAY: IT WAS PALM SUNDAY AND, BECAUSE OF A SORE THROAT, FIVE-YEAR-OLD JOHNNY STAYED HOME FROM CHURCH WITH A SITTER. WHEN THE FAMILY RETURNED HOME, THEY WERE CARRYING SEVERAL PALM BRANCHES. THE BOY ASKED WHAT THEY WERE FOR. "PEOPLE HELD THEM OVER JESUS' HEAD AS HE WALKED BY." "WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT," THE BOY FUME D, "THE ONE SUNDAY I DON'T GO, HE SHOWS UP!"

FIRST TIME USHERS! : A LITTLE BOY IN CHURCH FOR THE FIRST TIME WATCHED AS THE USHERS PASSED AROUND THE OFFERING PLATES. WHEN THEY CAME NEAR HIS PEW, THE BOY SAID LOUDLY, "DON'T PAY FOR ME DADDY. I'M UNDER FIVE."

PRAYERS: THE SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER ASKED, "NOW, JOHNNY, TELL ME, DO YOU SAY PRAYERS BEFORE EATING?" "NO SIR," HE REPLIED, "WE DON'T HAVE TO, MY MOM IS A GOOD COOK!"

CLIMB THE WALLS: "OH, I SURE AM HAPPY TO SEE YOU," THE LITTLE BOY SAID TO HIS GRANDMOTHER ON HIS MOTHER'S SIDE. "NOW MAYBE DADDY WILL DO THE TRICK HE HAS BEEN PROMISING US." THE GRANDMOTHER WAS CURIOUS. "WHAT TRICK IS THAT?" SHE ASKED. "I HEARD HIM TELL MOMMY THAT HE WOULD CLIMB THE WALLS IF YOU CAME TO VISIT," THE LITTLE BOY ANSWERED.

THE MOOD RING: MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME A MOOD RING THE OTHER DAY. WHEN I'M IN A GOOD MOOD IT TURNS GREEN. WHEN I'M IN A BAD MOOD, IT LEAVES A RED MARK ON HIS FOREHEAD.

A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses. She started her class by saying, "Everyone who thinks they're stupid, stand up!" After a few seconds, Little Davie stood up. The teacher said, "Do you think you're stupid, Little Davie?" "No, ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!"

Little Davie watched, fascinated, as his mother smoothed cold cream on her face. "Why do you do that, mommy?" he asked. "To make myself beautiful," said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue. "What's the matter?" asked Little Davie. "Giving up?"

This is how much cheese I would need to go with all the whining I feel like doing!!!!! I have not been a good blogger I know, I promise to do better. So feel free to talk amungst yourselves. LOL

The sound of silence

SSHHHH Listen, can you hear it????

What is it????

It's the sound of Nothing. No TV, No Washer, No Kids, No anything. Some days I dream of this sound as I return home from work. Today my dream started a few minutes after I got home. I take all the quiet time I can get.

My daughter has a ball game tonight, and I have a book study, so my DH got ball duty and my son went along to watch the sister he adores (yeah right) and eat as many hot dogs from the concession stand that he can in an hour. I don't know why, but when Mark and I worked the concession stand a couple Saturdays ago, he must have eaten 4 hot dogs all why working the fryer. He is funny about his dogs, and he knows what he likes.

Anyway, so here I sit, I just finished reviewing my chapter for tonight. I have really enjoyed this book study (Beth Moore-Get out of that Pit). I thought I don't need to read this I am not in any pit (except work) LOL. Boy was I wrong. That is not to say that I am in any sort of pit. God keeps me straight on that, but anyone can be prone to fall, be pushed or even jump on occasion. I have really enjoyed the book. 2 more chapters to go. I just love Beth Moore. OOPs she says we are not to love her, but i can;t help it I can just relate to her humor. LOL

So hope everyone is having a good week, one more day thank goodness. Gosh I miss Cindy when she is gone. Back to relaxing for a few minutes. Thanks for letting me babble on.

So it's not done yet, I bought curtains Saturday that are the blue/green color of my bins. The Easter Bunny brought me a matching trash can. All my bins are labeled. Never got to paint.

I love it, I haven't had time to scrap yet, hopefully this weekend.

Thursday Thoughts

Well, I didn't win the vacuum!! Which just gives me another excuse not to vacuum, I cannot stand to vacuum, it's not a difficult chore, but I still hate it just the same.

Well the week is almost over and of course besides the day to day stuff I haven't done much extras stuff. I did get the invitations done and mailed out. Hope to get my scrap room organization going, maybe the kids will let me do some this weekend. have a Egg Hunt on Saturday at church and then church on Sunday, with another egg hunt at MIL's.

All in all a good week. At least the sun is shinning here.

Welcome April

Let me start off by saying that Blogger is not liking me these days, my pictures won't show and sometimes my posts don't show. What is up with that?

Today is really April 3rd. but for me today is April first. I do the payroll and we always work a day behind, so after I post time and run all my reports and change all my excel sheets and vacations forms, shop job and all the crap I have to do at the end of every month.

So I am going to try and start my April off right. I have soooooooooo much to do.
I have a terrible busy week with appointments and such.
Thank God for moms and MIL.
I am having a baby shower for a girl I work with. I want to do a baby album for her, which I have not even started. My scrap room is a complete disaster!!!
My poor husband hurt his back, so he has not been able to put my last desk together. He spent his entire gift card he gets for not missing work (yeah BB&B) buying me cute bins for my room, so I really need to organize the best I can.

Plus I want to do a Lifetimez workshop at my house sometime this month, though It may be May, because I have Easter egg hunt this saturday at church, the shower then a crop on the 28th.
