Having a great time, a little rain and overcast this morning, we need a day of rest from the sun after yesterday.

CHATTER

So I have been visiting lots of Blogs this morning, as well as cleaning my house before we leave, almost everyone is still in bed except Sam of course who without a sense of time keeps asking me

"HOW MUCH LONGER TILL WE LEAVE???"

Anyway, I will not be here when my orders get here from HO. I am so bummed. So in honor of there arrival, which I will have on hand the 9th at my Lifetimez workshop, and my All Day Crop on the 18th I am giving away one of the Chatterbookz to anyone planning on attending either one of these events.

And now a VERY Funy blonde joke:

I would just like to note that these jokes are always about DYED blondes not real blondes!

A blonde's car gets a flat tire on the Interstate one day. So she easesthe car over onto the shoulder of the road. She carefully steps out of the car and opens the trunk. She takes out two cardboard men, unfolds them and stands them at the rear of the vehicle facing oncoming Traffic. The lifelike cardboard men are in trench coats exposing their nude bodies toapproaching drivers.

Not surprisingly, the traffic became snarled and backed up.It wasn't very long before a police car arrives.The Officer, clearly enraged, approaches the blonde of the disabled vehicleyelling, "What is Going on here?"

"My car broke down, Officer" replies the woman, calmly."Well, what in the hell are these obscene cardboard pictures doing here bythe road?!?!" questioned the Officer.

"Helllllooooo," she replied, "those are my emergency flashers!"

I am SOOOOO glad that it's Friday. We leave to go to Nags Head tomorrow for a week. YEAH!!

I have had a long week, I have been calling and e-mailing everyone to try and make sure no one misses out on the deal below. Even if you just scrap occasionally or make cards. You can still use all the products.

Lots to do before we leave. I hope to take my scrappin stuff to the beach and maybe get a fun project I have had in my head to do for a while.

My niece is staying at the house while we are gone, so she can take care of the puppies and house for us.

I have a Lifetimez workshop on the 9th of August set up and an All Day Crop set up for the 18th.

I really wanted to do a Crop of the Cure in October, I am still trying to find a Relay for Life Team to sponsor.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic weekend. I am sure to be back with a ton of great photos to use with my Lifetimez. I already miss all my Convention buddies. It was soooo nice to see everyone again. I hear that we may not have to wait a whole year to see each other again!!

Every year, this other consultant who's name I cannot remember LOL We get our picture taken together every year, we call it the Wendy Wendy picture.

I can't even begin to tell you how great my trip to the spa was. First the navigator on my phone took us right there with no problems. The spa was terrific. The ladies were so nice and as I was sitting and filling out my paper work here comes one of the girls carrying this fantastic bouquet with a Happy Anniversary Balloon on top. Guess what? It was for me only it was NOT flowers but Fruit. It is called Edible Arrangements it was the coolest thing I had ever seen, and my wonderful husband had it sent to the spa!!!

So incredible!!

So here it is and a close up all the "flowers are fruit. They served us a plate of it while we had our pedicures and we shared with all the staff and still had plenty left over.

Here is a picture of mom enjoying her pedicure. we had great girls, so that made it that much nicer, then we went to my favorite Olive Garden for lunch and then off to ROSS for shopping!!

Who could ask for a better day??!!!

I just finished packing and I am off to Utah for Convention. Sandy has called and said she is having a great time.

My plane leaves at 6 am so I really need to get to bed.

Most of my blogger Buddies are already in SLC learning all the cool stuff without me.

I am very excited, my plane leaves Friday morning at 6:09 am and I will be in Salt Lake around 11am SLC time. The time difference will kill me on the trip home.

I have work today off tomorrow and Friday

Tomorrow is my 22nd Wedding Anniv.

I don't even get to spend it with my husband, he unfortunately has to work tomorrow night

So in honor of our Anniv. Mom and I are going to Victoria's Day Spa!!

Then we will enjoy a leisurely lunch together, we may even get a little shopping in

I love spending time just me and mom

Sam is off to Busch Gardens on Friday and then going camping with a friend for the weekend.

It is really hard to type on my blog with people walking up all the time. good grief do they think I need something to do? LOL

Better get back to work, I will try and post again before I leave, want to show off my Mani, pedi

Yeah! It's Friday

Me Mark and Sam went to see Harry Potter last night. Someone said as Harry gets older the movies get darker, in the light sense.

You could hardly see half of what was going on. It was not as good as the last movies.

Stayed busy at work this week, which is a good thing.

All Day Crop Tomorrow

Hope to get started on Convention stuff on Sunday. Packing, wrapping gifts, deciding what scrappin stuff to bring and what to wear.

I need all my TLC buddies that are lucky enough to be going to the leadership training part to fill me in before I leave on what I should definitely bring laptop, pictures, etc....

And if you forgot something that I can bring you, let me know.

I am off on Thursday, going to use my Moms day gift and getting a mani.pedi.

Friday morning I leave before the rooster crows. I will be in Salt Lake City after lunch.

Got the last Secret Sista gift on it's way and will be here by Tuesday. I hope that she likes everything I have gotten her. I do! LOL

Is it Friday yet?

I really, really, really, don't like work. I wish I was independently wealth or old enough to retire. It's such a waste of good scrappin time, but also an essential for scrapbook purchases!!! LOL

My All Day Crop is coming up this Saturday, I need an idea for a M & T. Anyone got any great ideas?? I feel like I have done everything there is to do.

Convention is fast approaching and I have been shopping for my secret sista!

I am so excited about going, I love seeing everyone and spending time with my TLC Sisters. I hope it is cooler in Utah than it has been here.

End of a Wonderful Week

I have have the best week. I feel like I have been off work for a month. It's back to work tomorrow. We have done so much in one week that it is just incredible. It wasn't even planned out, we just did whatever needed to be done on what ever day.

I always try to plan and this week was plan free. I think the most accomplished thing I did was program the bedroom remote. Yeah Me! Got the pool up, the shed & garage clean out , had a free yard sale at the curb, took two loads to the dump, got clothes taken to a new home. Cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner most of the time. Just all kinds of stuff.

I thought I would get all my stuff ready for my crop next Saturday and my trip to Utah coming up in about 12 days. Nope, but I did get Sam's birthday circle book done. That's it. And I did buy my Secret sis a few gifts.

Everything was going great all week until yesterday, when I decided first thing (8am) I would start weeding the front small flower bed. Got it done before the sun, came in rested awhile, ate breakfast 3 hours later I realize that I am covered and I mean covered in Seed Ticks. AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have hundreds of bites all over me, and if that wasn't enough Sam got a few on her. around 10 to be exact, because it took over an hour to get hers off. I on the other hand had help from my DH. He has worse eyes than me. So I called on Good old MOM.

Here is a brief description if you are not familiar with the nasty very very small seed tick:

Lone star tick larvae and nymphs (immature stages) are very abundant now. Earlier in the summer, female ticks deposited masses of several thousand eggs on the ground. Anyone unfortunate enough to stand in or to pass through such a site can easily pick up dozens (and dozens) of larvae. They are the size of a pinhead.

So if anyone has any itch relief remedy, please send it my way.

So far I have green soap and antibiotic spray, lots of it.
