BIBLE: A little boy opened the big family bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages. "Mama, look what I found," the boy called out. "What have you got there, dear?" With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "I think it's Adam's underwear."

The Ette's

Don't know if everyone that reads my blog knows these ladies, they are known as the ETTE'S they are the Fantastic design team of TLC. We call them the Ette's because they are Anette and Fayette. These two are so much fun.

Saturday Happenings!

Look at that face!

This was one of the dogs at the Moonlight Madness adoption at the Suffolk Animal Shelter. My sister was there till 6. She sai while she was there 7 dogs were adopted. It was such a nice clean facility, but BOY was it LOUD. This little guy almost made me cry, if I didn't have 3 at home already I would have taken him with me. Wish I had gotten a picture of Carol with her jammies on. She was real busy helping people pick out the perfect pet.

Got my house all clean and laundry all done and was so excited about starting my acrylic album, but I was just too tired. I did get all the pictures printed out for it and I did get some things ready to mail out, those are the things scrapbooking wise I have been working on so I can't show them because they are gifts.

Speaking of gifts, I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my husband on Valentines and then we went to a Valentines dinner at church. Got the cutest valentine from Jackie and a special person knew that I was having a bad week last week and right on time a heart shape filled with jelly beans arrive at my door to brighten my day. Thank YOU!! Wanted to share my valentines card from jack because it's pooh and i love it. The inside says..........Just for You because your such a Hunny! He know me well! LOL

Today is Sunday filled with Church, Cheer parent meeting and Awana. Happy Sunday!!

I'm sorry to post twice in one day and cover up my valentine wishes, but I was soooo busy at work that I had time to make this and I was sooooooo excited I had to share. Where there is smoke, there is fire

Lots going on today!

We don't have fire, this is the visibility today, There are wild fires in Carolina(1700 acres) and the smoke is blowing in our direction. It is really hard to breath and visibility in some spots of Carolina are zero. I now have a new found appreciation for all of you in California.

Had to pick up Samantha from school I believe the stomach bug has bitten her. So my day is filled with bathroom clean up and laundry. Just when you think you have your day planned out! Something always happens to rearrange it. Oh well we will make the best of it. May get some tax stuff done YUK!! Makes my stomach hurt.

I did manage to get a little somin somin done at work this morning. My BIL Pete's birthday is in a few days. I saw something so cool last night on Sara Snow (the eco friendly cook girl) that I had to order this special thing from this place for my BIL. I don't ever send him a gift, so he will definetly be surprised (judi, I sent it to the ranch address)

We had such a Good Day yesterday. Mom and Carol went with us to the Competition, I think they had a good time, it was definetly an experience for them!

There were 8 teams in our division, and we Rocked and came in 3rd. We are so proud of the girls. They each got a ribbon! Woo Hoo, usually they only get a team trophy, so getting some recognition was nice.

We got to leave after awards around lunch time which is the earliest we have ever got to leave usually we stay and cheer on the older girls, but we were not allowed down near the floor,so they couldn't hear us anyway.

Off to get ready for church, I have children's church today and I have to teach Cubbies at Awana tonight , I haven't taught cubbies in two years, wish me luck!

Fantastic Friday!

I had such a great day yesterday. It was a day of gifts!

We had an appreciation lunch at work, afterward I receieved my 20 year pin (they are a little behind, I will celebrate 22 years in october) Anyway, very nice, then they handed out 100 dollar bills to everyone (30 people) WOO HOO!!!!

Then I get home to find my friend Shell has RAK'd me with a beautiful 2008 calendar from New Zealand. Thank you so much, you are such a sweetie!

God has looked out for me this week to keep me from loosing it completely

Is it March yet?

OK, So maybe a bomb was a little extreme, but some days just feel that bad.

So Bucket has had a brier I have been trying to remove since saturday, without much luck I decided on Monday to take him to the vet, Mitch calls at noon to ask me what was wrong with Snoopy? I have no idea what he is talking about, because he was fine when I left. Mitch tells me his foot is bleeding some and he is limping, so I plan to take a look at him when I get here to pick up bucket. Well, he is way worse than suspected. The Vet takes him to shave the area and take an x-ray to find he has some kind of something in his foot, it appears to be some sort of metal. So he has to stay overnight to have it removed. Also his toe is broke!!!!!!!!!!! I pick him up on Wednesday and it appears to have been bird shot. He evidently wondered in one of my stupid crazy neighbors yard. They better hope I don't figure out which one. He is doing fine and got a much needed bath. Bucket is taking care of him.


So with a million things already to do on Tuesday all at the same time is why I decided on a BOMB! Oh and did I say Mitch closed three nights this week and I haven't seen him since Sunday? Anybody got any cheese???????

Good Grief I wish this week was over. Have another cheer comp on Saturday we are suppose to be there at 8. It is an hour away. Mitch can't go so Carol is going with us. Boy is she in for a treat! I forgot to tell you to wear blue and red (team colors) Oh and ear plugs! LOL

Sorry to bore ya'll with my whinnng! Happy Wednesday??????

15 Minutes with Stacy

In my new book Photo Freedom, I talk about one of my best strategies for productivity -- the idea that you can create or take advantage of little chunks of time. I've proven again and again in my own life that you can make surprising progress on a project in just 15 minutes.And when I say 15 minutes, I mean 15 minutes. I have a timer in my studio and I often set it at 15:00, hit start and get busy doing some task until the beeper sounds. I then stop and switch gears and do something else

Anyway, I'm still going to share these challenges -- they'll just come at the end of each daily post. Some will be directly related to scrapbooking and others will more about life and inspiration - which in my opinion is directly related to scrapbooking!So, today I want you to spend 15 minutes with the pictures you took in January (and move farther back if you can.) You can review and delete (the ones you really don't want to scrapbook and don't need to keep), or do some quick crops and edits; you could upload images for printing, or simply tag them according to various topics so that you can more easily retrieve them down the road. What you do is up to you. Just spend fifteen minutes today with pictures you've taken recently ...

A day of CHEER!!

For those of you who don't know Samantha is involved in competition cheer. We have only been doing it since last year, this is only her third competition. My morning started at 5:15. Left for competition at 9-returned home at 7:30 very very tired.

The girls were fantastic. They took 4th place out of 6 teams. One of the pictures shows Sam in mid lift, at one point in the program they throw her in the air (better known as a flyer) she absolutely loves it and tells me she plans on doing it forever.......UH I hope not!

Grandma rose went with us this time, she is such a delight to be around. It is safe to say a Good Day was had by all!!!!!
