BEEEutiful Day
I had an All Day Crop today. I not only got scrap with 8 of the most wonderful women, but we also got a lesson in BEE keeping. When we got to the church this morning, someone came by to tell us about the swarm of Bees that had made there home on a tombstone in our cemetery, not far from where we were all parked. Why this individual hadn't already taken care of it is beyond me, so I called animal control and they dispatched a Bee Keeper over. What a character he was, his name was Steve. He gave us all a lesson on bees. He was hilarious, and of course OLF had to help him put his garb , then he just walked over and brushed them off the marker into 5 gallon buckets and off he went.
Needless to say it was a very exciting crop. We ate pizza laughed and got a few more memories documented. You could say a good time was had by all.....................

The bee keeper did look like a character. It's nice that you and Grandma get to spend so much time together. I miss you both very much!
You see... in the land of homeschool, we'd call that science for the day! LOL!!
I wish i would have been there.
Sounds like your day was full of excitement!
