Friday Night Fun

This is a book I made for the blogger bash, I thought of course there will be pictures and then I would have everyone sign it. Not sure I like the paper I chose to go under the word Blog, I think it is too distracting.

Here are a few things that I managed to accomplish last night. Carol was nice enough not to let me scrap alone. You know that whole Friends don't let Friends thing. Thanks Kalo!I must say I am so excited about the Blogger Blast! If you are not familiar with that head on over to Judi's Blog and let us know you are coming! Not much going on, I know I haven't posted for a few days. Lots going on this week.

I got a very good report from my GYN Wednesday, so I can do it as long as it feels Good! LOL He is so funny. That is actually what he said to me. My scars are minimal and will disappear with time.

I hope to get a few projects done tonight, I have 3 pending right now, so I will be scrapping and carrying on tonight, looks like by myself right now. So stayed tuned later tonight I will post my progress. Anyone close by want to join me?

Weekend Recap.....

HI ALL,

• Friday I cried all day, hormones are a wreck!
• Saturday woke up with vertigo and an upset stomach
• Sunday, much better day got lots done, including a project that I am mailing off today to my sweet niece for her B-day tomorrow (sorry Lexi it will be late)

Hopefully this week will be alot better, going back to Doc for check up and check on some hormones or something! Can't handle another week like last week!

Special Thanks to MOM for helping me out on Saturday (Sam had lots of activities) and MOM came to the rescue! LOVE YOU!!!

SDV Shopping

I didn't think our favorite store at SDV last year was going to be there this year, but I checked there calendar and they are suppose to be there. YEAH!! It's where we found Stickles! WOO HOO everyone loves stickles now!!!! Can't wait to see what they have this year!

My surgery went well yesterday and I am not hurting too bad today.
I hope this gets me straight and I can get back to my old self. I am going to start exercising in hopes that it will make me feel better, I just haven't been able to get myself together.

I also Love Top Chef!

I felt compelled to copy Sandy and post about Top Chef. I love this show. I have officially picked my Favorite and it is Carla! This girl is a hoot! I love her hair!

Thankfully they had what happen last night on line, because I feel asleep before it came on! Big Shocker! I am so glad Leaha is gone. I cook better than she does, she messsed up every time and they still kept her.

I really think Jamie was an excellent chef and should have gone all the way. She was robbed by Leah.

Another of Marks Creations...

He went to the auction in Courtland on Friday night with Grandma Rose and bought a big box of CD's and decided to do an art project. Then on Saturday Grandma Joyce took him to goof around while we were gone to the cheer competition. He bought a full length mirror to attach the CD too, kinda like a make shift frame and viola! So you could say this was a Dual Grandma Project!It took a lot of thought, I think it turned out great, it's really hard to take a picture of. We hung it upstairs in our media room.

Cheer competition at ODU

Our competition yesterday was so much fun! Jamfest always puts on a good competition! The girls came in second out of three in there division. They did really well. My niece Kristen came to watch Sam. She cheered for the same team SAM now cheers for when she was younger. She said she felt really old, I told her I knew exactly how she felt! LOL Samantha cried through the whole routine, she tripped on the mat when they were coming in and got a nasty strawberry on her thigh, but I think she was more embarrassed than anything.

OK People, I signed up for site meter about a month ago. This site will track how many visitors have been to your site at what hour and how long the average stay.

SO on 1/28/09 I had 64 visits in a 24 hour period!!!

271 visits in a 7 day period. WHAT??

That was they day I posted about Missy's new site 2 people commented 2!!

A good Read

I finished this book last night and my Goodness it was good. It touched me on so many levels. It is a small book and doesn't take long to read, I guarantee it will touch you. PS. Don't click to look inside, i borrowed this pic from Amazon! LOL

Mark's Creation

Last semester Mark took a Agriculture class. Well excuse my ignorance, but I thought the class would be about plants, vegetables, animals things of that nature. Well, to my surprise and Marks delight they learned how to weld and build thing. Here is Mark creation. A Hat Rack. I thought it was the best hat rack I had ever seen. He did a great job and presented it to Mom and Jackie yesterday. Signed and dated no less. Mom was a very sweet and agreed to hang in her home with pride. You gotta love Grandma for that!!
