If you had a free day with NO restrictions, what would you choose to do?

So here is my answer to the above question:

It's very detailed so pay attention.

First I would pick a beach, any beach because the weather and water would be perfect temp

so no worries there.

Then I would give all my friends and family the day off, because it wouldn't be perfect if you had to work.

We would have all the food and drink we could possible want prepared, because I aint cookin on my perfect day! and served when ever you felt like eating.

Massages and spas treatments throughout the day!

Bonfire on the beach after dark!

Oh and of course there would be no mosquitos or bugs of any kind

We could all just sit around and relax and eat and enjoy each others company, and talk about all the things we don't ever seem to have time to talk about.

There would be no fighting or disagreements, just Food Friends, Laughter and Fun!

Then everyone would be driven home, safe and sound!

I think that I shall, go home, put chicken in the oven and sit on my patio and do nothing this afternoon. I may even drink a little wine. Anyone want to join me?

Just wanted to let everyone know that my computer has been acting up at home. I think it is my son sucking up all the connection time by downloading music and such. So I have not been able to look at many blogs, never mind commenting.

I had a great weekend, lots of nothing with a lot of sunshine mixed in and a large dash of family time. I think I am at the age where I could stay home every day or maybe it's not my age, but my lack of enthusiasm for work!

A letter from the Governer

A couple weeks ago Mark and I were discussing recycling and how much we would like to start recycling, but how inconvenient it is to have to take your recyclables to a center. So Mark decided to send an e-mail to the Governor of Virginia asking why we do not have recycle pick up.

Well, the Governor's people sent Mark a letter last week, giving him the phone and e-mail address of the local person here in Suffolk that is in charge of recycling.

People in the City of Franklin have recycle bins that they put out on the street certain days and the city takes care of it. They also have centers around town where you can drop off.

We have been discussing it alot lately, so we have decided to start slow and just do the plastics.



I told Mark that I would ask for blogger input on suggestions for recycling in your home as we sometimes have ant issues and that is my main concern. Post your thoughts, I can't wait to hear what you all do in your own homes.

We had a Mother Daughter Tea at church on Saturday, everything was so nice, we had cucumber sandwiches and scones. Denise really out did herself. This is the only picture I got of Sam and I with our hats on. Samantha really enjoyed herself and so did I.

I feel so disconnected lately, I have had some extracurricular activity every day this week including Saturday and Sunday and they aren't even here yet, I am so tired of running running running. Is it July yet? I need a recharge!

I along with a lot of others I have been bad at blogging. With Mitch and I off all week, we have gotten so much done. My house is so clean, I am very pleased with what we accomplished this week. So here we are in May already. We have so much going on this month.

*It is National Scrapbook Day & I am not scrapping! (what is up with that?)

*Our last cheer competition is today and it is US Finals so it will air on ESPN in about two weeks I will let you know when.

*Every Tuesday and Saturday Samantha has ball games.

*But the highlight of my month will be Mother's Day, I am hoping for a picture of me and the kids.

* And we are having our first mother daughter Tea at church.
