I was recently going through my scrap stuff looking for something and I was appalled at the amount of things I have accumulated and I vowed to Deb that I would not be purchasing another scrapbooking thing until March of course. LOL
It was embarrassing, I really need to organize it so I know what I have. My scrap rack will surely help with most of my stuff. My main problem is my random rub ons, letters, and chipboard. So if anyone has any suggestions on how to organize these two items, please please share with me. Especially the run-ons. Just remember that it has to be mobile at times, because that seems to be the only time I get to scrap. I love my ribbon holder that was the best gift (Thanks Judi) it is great and holds so many ribbons. I love it So if you have any suggestions please share them with me.

Put your rub ons in a small suitcase? Plastic container that will fit just the stuff you have. I have mine in the metal paint can you made for me. I know right where they are. I also have a problem as you know. I need to go through my stuff again and get rid of everything I don't use. I just don't know what to do with it all yet. I have lots of TLC kits that I should make up and us at a later date. If you come up with the right plan let me know. The only thing I have bought lately is some baby paper I need for my new projects. I can not go to Michaels. I am saving my shopping for March as well. SDV here we come.

My craft stuff was a disaster when I moved. There was sooooooo much stuff. When I got here, I went to Walmart and bought some white plastic shelves. The longer shelves cost around 12 bucks. They're cheaper than a bookshelf and will fit more on them. Then I went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of plastic boxes about the size of a shoe box. They have snap on lids. I also bought about 50 little tiny boxes to sort all my buttons and brads and small things into. I stacked as many of those that would fit into the shoe box type boxes. Everything is sorted with like items. If I need to take them anywhere, I just grab the whole shoe box I need and go. I also bought a few bigger plastic boxes with snap on lids for projects. I have hundreds of alphabets. I keep those in one tin. I frequently work on those while I'm watching a movie with the family. All in all, the organization equipment cost me around 50 bucks. Now I know exactly where everything is in my craft room. I would love to have one of those fancy smancy shelving units, but I don't have 500 bucks sitting around begging to be spent. Hope this might give you an idea.
