My Big Fat Redneck SDV 2010!

How is that for a title?

 Things are starting to come together, I just got confirmation that Scrapbookgirl's very own Lisa Fedele will be joining us and a menu is in the works.  What am I babbling about you say?  Since all of us are on a tight budget, we (my sisters mom and me) have decided to host our own SDV Redneck style!!

It will be a free crop of course and we are working on all the other arrangements, so I will be posting them as soon as they have all been worked out.

When you say March of Course!    It will start Friday March 19th and countinue untill Sunday March 21st.

Where you say? The Bronco Club!

If you are remotely interested in coming and feel free to invite your friends and there friends, I will just need to get an accurate count as it gets closer for food and such!

Deb. just called and she is on her way home.  She said she never thought she would say:

 I'm riding home in the Sunshine & Cancer Free!!

I talked to Deb this morning and she sounds great,  she may be coming home on Wednesday. 

I feel such relief for my friend.  After her husband called me on friday to tell me all went well.  I turned on the radio to hear Josh Turner's "Long Black Train"  I just broke down.  Deb loves this song and it just speaks the truth.  Vict'ry in the Lord!

She is out of surgery and doing fine. CANCER FREE!    She will go straight to her room no ICU and may possible come home on Monday pending her pain from surgery.  All of your prayers have help this wonderful lady!  Thank You all and I will keep you updated.

Update on Deb:  She had her biopsy yesterday on her liver and it came back Benign!!!  It is not related to her kidney at all.  They are not really saying what it is and don't seem to worried about it right now.
So she will have her kidney and gallbladder taken out tomorrow.  she will not have to have chemotherapy, but will have a long recovery!  Prayers are answered!  Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!

I laughed so much I almost pead my pants!

 

Josh will be leaving soon, so we all went bowling last night, we had such a good time.  I taught everyone some new dance moves, we laughed at our horrible bowling skills and just had a great time.  It will be around 7 months before we get to see Josh again.  We thought he would be a bowling expert since he bowled so much in Kentucky, but we were wrong Buck stole the last game with a score of 146.  It was a great night. 

My Friend Deb

A few posts back I asked for prayers for my friend Deb. So I thought I would let ya'll know the whole story and the updated info.   A couple weeks ago Deb was diagnosed with cancer.  A tumor was found attached to her left Kidney and a spot on her liver (biopsy wed) on the liver spot.  She started having extreme pain Tuesday morning which turned out to be her tumor bleeding and her bladder wasn't working.  That got that fixed and she had a CT scan on Wednesday to determine where the constant pain was coming from.  The bleeding kidney is the cause so they are keeping her at Norfolk General.  She will have  biopsy of the liver on Wednesday and surgery to remove the kidney, gallbladder which has porcelained  and depending on what they find on Wednesday possible some of the liver.    They are keeping her in Norfolk General the whole time.  She has been very optimistic and doing really good considering.  So if you have a few minutes this Friday please say a little prayer for Deb.  I will also post the hospital address at the bottom, if you could send a card even if you don't know her and let her know you are praying for her, that would be great.
