Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you all have a Safe and Blessed Thanksgiving.  We All have so much to be Thankful for this year.  I know I do.  Don't eat too much today!

The Birthday Boy

My Buddy turned 18 this past weekend, he is such a great kid despite his issues now and then.

There are worse things I guess.  I Thank God every day for this child he is such a Blessing to Mitch and I.

He wanted a confetti cake for his birthday, so I whipped him up a couple bunt cakes and made this.   Not sure if he liked it, but it sure was good, I sustituted moms homemade apple sauce for the oil and it makes the cake so moist.

Christmas Card Martha Style

I made this tree using my Martha Stewart punch cutting a 4" wide strip alternating red and this great print paper.  I layered them one on top of the other.  Turned it over and drew a triangle shape on the back and cut it out. 

Added a sentiment rub on to the top, small green trunk at the bottom, used a button for the topper and Viola. 

As I said in my last post, I enjoyed making Christmas cards Saturday.  Though I only got 12 cards finished I feel like I have jump started my objective.  Which is to complete them on or before black Friday.  Here is my favorite, head over to Project-Create to check out some of the others.  Happy Sunday!

SCRAPPIN WITH FRIENDS

Getting started on my Christmas cards this weekend, hope to accomplish something, I don't think I have done anything productive in a very long time.

All is getting better, mom is back on her feet again and Jack is able to drive now.  He has progressed so much in the last month. 

God is Good all the time!
