Birthday Wishes

This Wonderful Ladies Birthday is today and If I have counted correctly I have less than 90 days before I get to go and see her.  She is so special to me, and they just don't make cards to say the things I want to say.

A few of us went to Tucker Swamp Church on Saturday to watch a live satellite link with 330,000 other women.  Usually Beth overwhelms me with Spiritual Inspiration, but I must say this was a little disappointing.   I even found my mind wandering at times.  She just seemed all over the place and really not focused.  I did learn something about Insecurity and she always makes you think and learn to use her message in your own life.  I guess a little inspiration is better than none at all.  Special Thanks to the Ladies at Tucker Swamp for making us all feel welcome.

I made this poem up and few years ago,  and found it on my computer today and thought I would share it.

Olf, Hot, Breeze & Sue

We have so much fun we could never explain it.

We laugh, we talk, and we have great fun

We talk about everything under the sun.

We always have gifts for each other it seems

Sometimes only we know what they mean

We each have our ways, but we are never boring

Sometimes it’s talking for others it’s snoring.

Dancing and eating and scrap lifting are favorites

but those around us probably hate it

WOO HOO

With all of the memories we have in our mind

We don’t want any to get left behind.

We put them on pages to keep or to give

To show all the happy and sad things we did.

We have lots of gadgets, stickers and glue

But all that we need is an idea or two.

To complete a page and have so much fun

It’s amazing that we get anything done.

But when it’s concluded and we are done

I know there will always be another one.

Balloon Blast!

We had Balloon blast on Sunday after church, but Saturday we filled 200 balloons!  The kids past bible verses and for every 3 verses they passed they get 1 balloon.  It was a little chilly, but the kids had a great time.

We had so many balloons left that we decided the leaders would throw them at the kids.   Here are a few shots of the leaders and the kids.  Yes, I did get picked one too, but no one got a picture!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far. 

 Mitch is doing pretty good, but his foot hurts alot! 

The doctor said his bone was the hardest he had ever seen,

 so he did alot more manipulating than normal.

I take him back to the doctor on friday.

He is a pretty good patient, but is already tired of laying around doing nothing, and the poor thing doesn't like to read so the TV is his only friend!  Thanks for all your well wishes!

Lot's going on this week, so i have been running around alot!  Need to get my garden planted, can't wait to show you all we have done.  This is my first garden ever, so I am very excited about it.

Today is my Friday and this is how I feel!

Long week!

Mitch is having surgery on his foot on Friday.  He is haveing an implant put in his big toe.

He fell down the stairs when we were dating, broke his toe and over a period of 25 years the joint has detriorated and has to be replaced.  I hope that he has a quick recovery and is on his feet soon.

Say a little prayer for ME him tomorrow!

My baby boy started his first job last week and I am so proud of him.  It was his idea to get a job and he actually had to do a lot of training for this job.  So if you are in Franklin Stop by and see how he is doing.
He is working at the one behind Wendy's in Franklin.  PS.  This picture was sent from his friend phone, I didn't want to go in on his first day and make him all nervous!
