Love my Son

Mark had his first real trip by himself with friends to Nags Head this weekend.  He almost made it all weekend without incident.  He called yesterday to tell me he locked his keys in his car.  The locksmith only charged them $13.00 because they waited an hour and a half for him to get there.  So all was well.   He brought me this ring, said he never got me a Mother's Day present.  Almost made me cry, this is the first gift he has ever bought me with his own money.  I will cherish it Forever!
Then I started thinking about him being a senior next year.  Good Grief my little boy is growing up!
Happy Monday!

So Much Fun

We had so much fun at Founder's Day, Sam's ball team rode in a truck. Sam doesn't look very excited!

We took the golf cart to the ball field and had a mobile concession stand
We had lots of excitement yesterday.  We were there from around 9 am to about 4, but we had a great time and raised money for the association, so it was worth it!  Below was my favorite entry!

I posted my other cards on Project-Create so I thought I would share a few here, because there really is not anything exciting going on around here.
Sam does have a 4th-5th grade dance tonight!   Mitch is doing great and will be returning to work on Wednesday.  We will see how he does, I have loved, loved, loved  having him home.  Did I mention how much I love having him here when I get home?  LOL  Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend and the following cards are for me becasue I wish I could keep my husband home all the time.  Love you Honey!

Oh and by the way the wonderful ladies on the cricut message board let me know that the cartridge I was trying to figure out was Lyrical Letters!  And I found it at scrapbookpal for $29.99!

Mother's Day

I had a quiet Mother's Day on Sunday with the family and then on Monday mom and I went shopping.  Can't say we got any great deals, but of course we had a great time.  We went  to the Tuesday Morning that they just opened in Chesapeake.  I must say I was extremely disappointed.  The scrapbooking section was modest, but the prices were awesome and I did manage to pick up a pack of paper I was needing.  They had 12 x 12 albums for $7 so I would definitely go back for scrapbook stuff, but nothing else really seemed like a deal.  I guess I prefer Ross.

All Hail MOM's everywhere.  I hope that if you are a mom you are doing what ever you want to today.  I had such a great day yesterday, not sure if  I can top it!  So enjoy the sunshine and cool weather and don't forget to tell your mom how much you love and appreciate her!   Here are my reasons to smile today!

Sentiments

I made a few cards on NSD and thought I would share them with y'all!  I used someones cartridge at the Redneck scrap to cut a bunch of sentiments and I cannot remember who it was or what cartridge.  Does anyone know which Cartridge the Hi Friend below comes from?    Mom still owes me a cartridge from Christmas and I would love to get this one.

Thanks and Happy Thursday!

We recycle every day, so today I am making a save the change can from a container of Planter's Peanuts we just finished. Which I believe is also made of recycled products! Happy Earth Day!

I just so happen to be looking through the last posts on KI Memories Blog and found out I had won!

This is what I made for Earth Day with my Peanut Container  SSHHH it's a surprise for someone special.  I still need to add some ribbon.
