INSPIRED

Well, It's Monday and I have had a semi productive weekend.

On Saturday I visited a friend who is out with a fractured ankle no weight allowed on the leg for 6 weeks. I cannot imagine, anyway I wanted to check on her and share my newest toy The Cricut. While I was there, I had to get a few things for her from her kitchen, I was so impressed with the organization of her Kitchen that on Sunday after church I went home and cleaned out and reorganized every cabinet in my kitchen (approach. 12) WOW have I got a lot of junk. I threw away 2 big green trash bags full of junk, plus added to the yard sale pile.

Anyway there is no better feeling than organization. Thought I would share that with you.

My Scrap Room

Well, I decided to clean out absolutely every corner of my SCRAP room and you know what? They are very properly named, I bet I found about 6 piles of scraps, where I had sat down to do a project and didn't feel like cleaning it up. Can anyone relate??????? I went through the piles and sorted and new piled everything else in one big pile, to be gone through on another day LOL

Anyway, I am having a scrapping yard sale at my next crop, so I have gotten together to sell ad whole big container of stuff that I have never used or don't use anymore, boy does that feel good. I am now on a mission to try and figure out organization of paper scraps and those embellishments that you buy and forget you have. Any suggestions, would be helpful. I may post it on one of the message boards to get some outside help.

So my room looks pretty good now, I think I amy even be able to Scrapbook in there.

Maybe after it is completely done I will post a picture, it reall needs a makeover

It's Late but I am excited

It is very late for me to be up on a Tuesday night (10:34 LOL), but I am so excited, I have finally printed my new digital scrapbook pages that I did on Lifetimez. I wanted to share my favorite one. I just love it, i am so excited to keep getting them better and better.
Well better hit the hay.

Monday Morning Blues

Ever have one of those Mondays when you just wish you were a stay at home MOM? My job is pretty great, I have been doing pretty much the same thing for 20 years. I work for a wonderful Co. It's just that every morning I have a million and one things to do at home, or something I am missing that I would love to do with my children, but I have to go to work!
My hours are 7 to 3:30 unless the lady I work with is on vacation then its 7 to 4:30. So I have time after work to do my run around stuff (walmart-bank-grocery store)

Sorry to be whinney this morning, really wish I had more time to spend scrapbooking and working on my second job (TLC) , spending time with my children. Maybe one day.

My daughter is going to VBS at my neighbors church this week, so that gives me a few hours of quite time. Maybe I'll get my office/scrap room organized. What a mess. I'll have to post a picture, wish I had one like Donna Downey, so inspiring.

My week is sure to brighten up that is one thing I can count on!! LOL

Family Reunions

What really is a family reunion? A gathering of people from far and near that you haven't seen in over a year. (hey I made a rhyme) I have my husband's family reunion this weekend and let's just say I do not enjoy this event very much.
So me and my sister in laws will probably get really caught up with each other. It is suppose to rain and we have a cook out to go to later that day. So we will try to have a nice afternoon and hopefully it will not rain. Family ya gotta lovum.

I have been so busy getting everything back to gether from vacation and planning my All Day Crop in August, I just got the registrations out. And I have been fighting with my computer over virtual memory. I am trying to do some digial scrapbooking and it keeps telling me I don't have enough virtual memory. GOOD GRIEF as if I have enough troubles with knowing computer junk.

What a Vacation

All I can say about my vacation is WOW!

We visited our friends the Burtons first. We went to Disneyland, what a great day. All dreams came true

Then off to visit my sister in Fallbrook, we got to see her new house, The views were breathtaking. The boys enjoyed riding the Quads untill the heat really set in. Most days were in the hundreds. So we went to the new Pirates movie and Superman. What a wonderful way to cool off.

We didn't get to scrapbook while I was there, but she promised me a weekend trip in the fall to look forward to. I Love my sister, I wish we lived closer to one another.

All in All it was a great vacation, we had a safe trip home and now it's back to reality.

Yesterday was my 21st Wedding anniversary. This man has put up with me for a long time.

I can't believe it, it seems like yesterday when we had no worries and no responsibilities.
Boy times have changed!!!!

Sunday night, the night before vacation. We leave at 5AM good grief! You know how you think you have everything packed and when you get there you have forgotten something? I have that feeling already! LOL

I have recently started digitally scrapbooking, I have done a trial album and all I can say is WOW!!! It has sooo many possibilities. I had a ball playing with all the embellishments and I even had my daughter naraight her graduation pictures. She loved that, and to be able to capture her voice is just amazing to me. I will try an insert a picture of one of the pages. It was a simple page, but if you could hear my daughter talk about her teacher.

It's Finally Friday!!!!

I can't believe it is finally Friday. Two more hectic day until we leave on vacation.
Mickey here we come!!
Yesterday was long, but very productive.
Tomorrow promises to be filled with more projects than hours in the day!

Saturdays To Do List
*Laundry
*Cleaning house
*Cutting grass (borrow mower ours is broken)
*Teaching class in am at community college
*Make sure rabbit has home while we are on Vacation
*Start getting things together- suntan lotion, bug spray, get backpacs ready for plane ride)
* Send out TLC catalog to customer
*Set away message on E-mail
* Make breakfast, lunch and dinner in between
*Attend surprise birthday party for neighbor

Not much, and I am sure I have forgotten something

Second day and still learning

OK, so as you can see i figured out how to add images to my blog. It took me a while, but I figured it out.

So on to learning how to add links to my web page and so on.

So my family and I are leaving for vacation on Monday off to California to visit friends and my sister. The first day will be filled with relaxation and trying to get use to the time change. The second day is a FUN Filled day at Disneyland. I must say I am very excited about taking my children to see Mickey. Then the following days will be filled with more relaxation. LOL

Today however is not relaxing. Work, son to orthodontist, cook dinner for sick friend and try to get some more things ready for vacation. Wish me luck

Well here goes nothin

Well, I guess you gotta keep up or get out of the way, or so I am told.

I have decided to start a Blog. I enjoy reading Heidi Swapps,Donna Downey and even Jan Pepe's. I wonder why it is that we like to read other peoples journals?

So I hope if you are reading this you find it entertainig if nothing else.

Not sure if my life is exciting enough to even write anything LOL!!
