Well, It's finally Friday. This has been a very long week, it's picked up a bit at work, so the days went by rather quickly. Blogger has been freaky today and wouldn't let me comment on everyones blog. Sorry, didn't want ya'll to think I was ignoring you.

Samantha's party is tomorrow.Friends and Family. Lots of FUN!

Then I am off for a whole week-yes 7 whole days of vacation WOO HOO! Nothing planned, but lots of time with the kids and DH. Hope to use my Mother's Day gift in there somewhere.

So I really liked Shell's blog rater and I knew mine would be G, because I am pretty boring. I think POOP was the only word I used that was questionable. LOL

So I decided to do another survey while I was there and post it.

GASC

I could not think of a better way to end a chaotic week than to work 1/2 day, drive 3 hours, stay up past midnight and laugh and talk and have the Best time with My mom and my friend Amanda Sue.

We had a great time, we always do. People are so funny to watch and talk too. Hey! Kristie, did Discover call yet????

I tell you what, the people at GASC are the most unorganized folks I have ever had the experience to work with. They don't know if they are coming or going. I have NO ideas how the pull off such a large event every year. We had a great time despite the fact that no one ever knows what's going on or when we can set up or where the crop is on Saturday! Good Grief!

We bought more ribbon this weekend, I bet we could go around the earth with the amount we accumulated. There was a lady there that had a cart full of ribbon all color coordinated. I don't know who was drooling more me, or Amanda. Here is a picture of her fondling the ribbon.

Didn't do as well Saturday night as we usually do. I went in set up real nice, had almost everything marked down. Was all ready to sell everything I had left. BUT NOOOOOOO!!

Those vendors came in slapped that stuff in a pile on the table and started hollering, sounded like a bunch of auctioneers. Everything on this side is $20.00 everything on this side is $10.oo an so on and so on..............They sold everything they had. Word Up: Mark it down and sling it on a table and they will buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say, I came home with more that I wanted to. I sold right much on Friday night, so I can't complain too much.

Is it me???

Don't get me wrong I Love Donna Downey as much as the next person, but good grief, the woman post something like this and gets 10 comments so far!!!!!

just buzy working...
as i cleared a path to the computer in my studio, i thought i would post...but alas i have nothing witty or interesting to say.back to work!

The most comments I have ever gotten is 7 and probably 2 of them were my own!! LOL

Yesterday, my sister did respond to my post and I really enjoyed reading her 3 things. Thanks Hot Mamma ** Love and Miss You Lots**

I am off to Chantilly tomorrow with mom and Amanda to perform magic and make all my product disappear at the GASC Crops Friday and Saturday night. Wish me Luck!

Things I'd like to learn: to play the piano, Sign language, Patience

Favorite foods: Olive Garden, steak, Stuffed Mushrooms

Things I can't do: Get up quickly LOL!, Spend too much time with my DH, things I don’t at least try to do

Things I can do: As much as possible in any given 24 hr period, I don't really have any thing special I can really do OOHH I got one listen and give advice.

Snippets from the week so far

So I thought since I had a minute, I would give you a quick recap so far.

• We had a great father's Day. I didn't even call my dad. I think the only thing we share is DNA. Too much one sided effort into a relationship is not my idea of Family.

• The pups do nothing but POOP and PEE.

• Samantha is having a week of fun at her day care and then more fun at VBS at night. A shower and then straight to bed.

• Mark is helping out on the sound board for VBS. And taking care of the pups during the day. He gags every time he has to clean up after them.

• I started with 5th and 6th graders for VBS last night. I had a lot of fun with them. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, time goes by quickly. Tonight I have Kindergartner's!!!

• I have my Inventory out all over the living room floor, I have got to get that done tonight.

• I also have to pack for the kids they have to stay at my MIL Friday night and Sunday morning.

• My laptop crashed so I won't be able to demo lifetimez at GASC.

• It is going to be my goal to sell everything I take with me. If not I think I will simply give it away! LOL

• I wanted to post pictures, but haven't had time. I will try to add them later.

Finally Friday

Well, it's finally Friday, the end to another crazy week. The kids are done with school today. Monday starts VBS at night while still working during the day. I agreed to teach this year, hopefully the kids will learn a little something from me. I also have to prepare for GASC in Chantilly. I will be vendoring at the crops Friday and Saturday again for the 3rd year. So I will be working, teaching and preparing for GASC.

While I am in Chantilly, I get to see of few of my TLC buddies, so I am excited about that.

The pups are doing great. Lots of peeing and pooping going on, it's been a while since of have been a dog mom so I need to get use to it again. It's nice to go home to wagging tales and fits of excitement.

Things are slow at work, so it makes for a loooong day. Then I am off tonight and all day tomorrow decorating my room. Game day central is the theme this year. My father-in-law is building me the rear end of a pick-up truck. I am doing like a tail gate party in my room. Should be lots of fun and learning. Somehow I drew the lesson on ACTS. Really simple and difficult to strech into a 45 minute lesson. Wish me luck.

Missy Made It

You know how when you ask someone to make something for you, but you don't want to ask how much, because you are embarrassed? And then when you get the bill, you try not to pass out at the total. This has happen to me a few times, sometimes I think it is only because I am so cheap! (I get it from my mom) LOL.

Well, I asked my blogger friend Missy, who also made my Scrappin with Friends logo on the right to make Samantha's Birthday Invites and they are absolutely perfect and adorable. In this case I was NOT disappointed with the product or the price!! Thanks Missy you are very very talented.

What a Great weekend, some Happy moments and some Sad

I lived through it

I had such a great weekend, everything on my list was accomplished, and went off without a hitch. I did however forget the most important thing on Sunday afternoon. here are a few shots of the newest additions to our family. We only went to get one and ended up with one for each of the kids. They are the most precious things. They are some kind of mix not sure what.

The little black one is the runt his name is Bucket. He drooled like a drool bucket at the pet store so hence his name.

The black and white one is Snoopy. The owner had already named him and we thought it was perfect.

Take a Deep Breath............and GO

Well, it's Friday-Here is the low down................................

1. 9:30:Sons middle school graduation
2. 12:30: Daughter's Field Day
3. 3:30: Pick-up pictures for T-ball coaches scrapbook that has to be done for Sat. Computer crashed yesterday(lost everything) and had to start all over again last night.
4. 4:00: Home to change and clean-up
5. 4:30: Pick-up girls from church (will explain later) take shopping for clothes for there moms funeral
6. 5:00:clothes shopping and groceries for food for tomorrow( I am in charge of feeding the family before the memorial service
7. 6:30: Take Mark to 8th grade party at the river
8. 7:00: take the girls out to eat
9. 9:00: Take the girls home
10. 9:30:-10:00: Work on scrapbook
11. 10:30: Pick-up Mark from party
12. 11:00: fall into bed

    OH and did I mention it's the hotest day of the year 97 with 110 heat index!
